Learning at the college level already requires you, as the student, to be much more in control of your own learning. It is up to you to stay on track. Some students have commented that it feels like they are teaching themselves, and, to some extent, that is true. College requires more independent learning. You can expect to have two to three hours of reading, studying and homework for every hour of class time and you will have to produce your own schedule for completing this work. Taking some or all your courses online can add to that challenge when you need to carve out a space to participate in your classes from your home.  To help you adjust; we have prepared the following information and advice based on materials in our THRIVES program.
