The Veterinary Technician Program is dedicated to teaching, learning and giving many animals a second chance at finding new, loving homes. Through education and hands-on learning, our students are able to improve many animal lives. Students, staff and the community are invited to adopt animals from our facility when the animals have been temperament tested and examined for medical concerns.

Our adoptable dogs   have had the following medical and health treatments:

  • Heartworm check
  • Vaccinations
  • Parasite Check and Deworming
  • Spay/Neuter (depending on age and condition)

Our adoptable cats   have had the following medical and health treatments:

  • Vaccinations
  • Parasite Check and Deworming
  • Spay/Neuter (depending on age and condition)

We have many repeat customers and we strive to make sure that the animal you choose will fit your lifestyle and family.

The viewing of animals is by appointment only!

Breed: Maltese Mix

Colour: White/Gray

Age: 6 Months Old

Gender: Female

Meet Cookie! This little sweetheart is a 6-month-old Maltese mix. Cookie is a happy-go-lucky pup who loves everybody. She walks every day using a harness and has a lot of puppy energy. A fenced-in area for her to run, play and explore would be an asset. She has so much love to give and will make you laugh with her quirky personality. Cookie will require regular grooming and continued basic training. She is well on her way to being fully crate-trained as well.

Esmeralda the Chihuahua

Hello, I'm Esmeralda!

As you can see, I've been around for some time! I'm looking for a warm, comfortable, loving lap to rest my head, and as you know, Chihuahua's are very loyal and loving companions...that's me! I still have some get-up and go. I go on several short walks every day and love it!

Age: 2 Years Old

Gender: Male

Say hello to Meatball, a 2 year old Bully mix breed.  As the name may imply.. he is short, round and has a ton of character. Meatball craves attention and is very affectionate! Loves belly rubs and any other attention you will give him. He is doing very well with his basic commands but will need to continue working on leash manners and basic training.

This breed is not for first time dog owners, he will require a knowledgeable owner/family who will provide him with training, structure and a loving home.
