The Veterinary Technician Program is dedicated to teaching, learning and giving many animals a second chance at finding new, loving homes. Through education and hands-on learning, our students are able to improve many animal lives. Students, staff and the community are invited to adopt animals from our facility when the animals have been temperament tested and examined for medical concerns.

Our adoptable dogs   have had the following medical and health treatments:

  • Heartworm check
  • Vaccinations
  • Parasite Check and Deworming
  • Spay/Neuter (depending on age and condition)

Our adoptable cats   have had the following medical and health treatments:

  • Vaccinations
  • Parasite Check and Deworming
  • Spay/Neuter (depending on age and condition)

We have many repeat customers and we strive to make sure that the animal you choose will fit your lifestyle and family.

The viewing of animals is by appointment only!

Hi everyone! I'm Daphne, a 1.5 year old Mix breed. I'm a very friendly, outgoing girl who likes to have fun playing with my toys, walking, sniffing and exploring.

I would be a great companion for someone who is active. I would also do well with a family. No cats, please.

Asta, the German Shepherd Asta, the German Shepherd Asta, the German Shepherd

Breed: German Shepherd

Colour: Black/Tan

Age: 1.5 Years Old

Gender: Female

Meet Asta, a beautiful 1.5-year-old German Shepherd. She is true to her breed, very smart and keen to learn new things.

Like most Shepherds, Asta will need plenty of exercise (physical and mental) and would be a great candidate for obedience work. 

She loves everyone she meets, but would probably be best suited in a home with no other pets. 

She has not been tested with cats or children, but has been very tolerant with everyone here.

We have a few male Beagles, all 4 years old, in excellent health and full of affection. These sweet boys are wonderful with children and would make fantastic companions for just about anyone.

They love their daily walks and spending time outdoors, but they're just as happy curling up beside you for some cozy downtime. If you're looking for a smaller dog that's easygoing, enjoyable to walk, and always ready for a cuddle while you relax with your favourite show, these lovable Beagles could be the perfect match.

Delilah is a very sweet cat with a calm demeanour. She is a little over a year old and would be a great addition to any household. She has proven to get along well with other cats, but what she seems to enjoy most is loving pets and cuddle time.

Age: 7 Months

Gender: Male

Leo is a 7-month-old kitty. He has a very outgoing personality and gets along well with other cats. He is quite active and loves attention. He will come up to you right away for lots of pets and will definitely love to play with some toys with you.

We will have budgies available for adoption as of April 20th. Assorted colours and genders will be available.

Rats

Long Evans rat

Age: 5 months old

Long-Evans rats are available for adoption.

We have males and females, 5 months old, handled and loved, so they are very friendly and social.

They make excellent companions!
