The St. Clair College women's soccer team is bringing home silver medals from the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association Championship hosted over the weekend at Centennial College in Scarborough.

The Saints suffered a heartbreaking loss Sunday, falling to the Seneca Sting 1-0 on a goal scored in added time off a corner kick.

St. Clair played a solid match but failed to capitalize on several great chances throughout the match.

Alessio Olivito was named St. Clair's Player of the Game.

Fourth-year St. Clair Saints forward Talia Liburdi was named a tournament all-star for her play at the OCAA Championship at Centennial College in Scarborough, Ont. Nov. 1, 2026. (Saints Athletics)

Talia Liburdi and Natalie Kersey were named Tournament All Stars for their outstanding play.

With the win, Seneca will advance to the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association National Championship at Conestoga College, while the St. Clair season comes to end.

St. Clair was the lowest ranked team of the four in the Championship and came within one quality shot to winning back-to-back OCAA gold medals.

The Saints final record for the season including regular season and playoffs was 11 wins, 1 tie and 2 losses. St. Clair scored 61 goals and allowed 5 in those 14 matches.
