Jasmine "Jazzyk1ns" Manankil, a second-year student in the Social Service Worker – Gerontology program and member of the St. Clair College Varsity VALORANT team, has qualified for the VCT Game Changers North America Grand Final as part of FlyQuest.
VALORANT Game Changers is the official esports program and competitive circuit by Riot Games created to elevate women and other marginalized genders in VALORANT. The Grand Final will take place on Sept. 17 at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles, CA.
Manankil brings several years of high-level competitive experience to the FlyQuest roster. She began competing in VALORANT in 2020 and has played for several prominent organizations, including Cloud9, Complexity and 100 Thieves. She has also represented Canada on the Counter-Strike National Team in 2025 and currently sits on the National Players Commission for Esports Canada.
With the Saints VALORANT team, Manankil won the 2025 Canadian Esports National Championship.
"Jazzy is an incredible ambassador for St. Clair and everything we want our student-athletes to represent," said Chris Funston, St. Clair College Assistant Esports Director. "She's an exceptional competitor and represents the program with pride. We're incredibly proud to see her competing at the highest level and representing the Saints on such a big stage."
Additionally, FlyQuest played out of the St. Clair Esports Nexus facilities for the duration of their Game Changers playoff run.
"Having FlyQuest use our facilities for matches of this magnitude is incredible," added Funston. "It's a testament to the quality of our facility and the strong relationship we've been building between collegiate and professional esports."
With a victory in the VCT Game Changers North America Grand Final, Manankil and FlyQuest will secure their place in the World Championships in São Paulo, Brazil, this October.
