Community Events

The students in the Sport and Recreation Management program have been busy planning our annual Legacy Project. The START HERE GO ANYWHERE 4K RUN/WALK, "Future Saints" 1K and the "KidSport" Kids Dash is scheduled for 9 am on Sunday, April 19, 2026. This event, proudly sponsored by the St. Clair College Alumni Association, starts and finishes at the SportsPlex, and showcases the north and south ends of the Main Campus, including an inside lap around the football/soccer field at Acumen Stadium and a visit through the Dr. Patti France Promenade!

Proceeds from this event support:

  • KidSport – provides grants to help cover the registration expenses so that all kids aged 18 and under can play a season of their favourite sport
  • Provides 2 bursaries in the amount of $500 each for SRM students

The run or walk is not difficult, and it is not a long commitment on a Sunday. We have a 1K for your little ones and 4K is not a distance that requires much training.

We've kept the entry fees low, so you have no excuse not to bring out the whole family!

  • Children and all students = $15.00
  • St. College Alumni = $20.00
  • Adults = $25.00

Please check out the link below to learn more about this great event!  We have many great sponsorship partners who have donated additional items for each person registered.
