The student will be building on skills aquired in VET 112.Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to identify and isolate the most common microbial pathogens associated with large animals.Identify the adults and ova of large animal internal and external parasites as well as small animal external parasites and understand their life cycles. They will also be able to assess blood for parasites, anemia and infection.The student will be able to identify antiparasitics used in veterinary pharmacology.
