An introduction to the creative writing and the publishing process will be presented with a concentration on the four basic forms of writing: non-fiction, short fiction, children's fiction and poetry. Students will examine the writer's craft through research and investigation of the various forms of writing using a wide range of professional works as models, and will share and discuss the results of those investigations with the rest of the class through the Online Log. The various steps of preparing works for publication will also be covered.
