This course will address the fundamental concepts related to caring for clients receiving IV therapy, Central Venous Access Devices and Venipuncture for nurses. Course content will include all IV access lines, peripheral sites, review of equipment, dressing protocols, IV initiation, client assessment and appropriate nursing care.
This course is open to RNs and RPNs.
