This course is designed to help students develop an understanding of the concept of advocacy, the purpose of advocacy and the professional responsibility to engage in advocacy as an Early Childhood Education professional. The impact of various levels of advocacy will be examined in relationship to children, families, Early Childhood Educators, and the field of ECE in general.
