This course introduces participants to Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS). This course is appropriate for Health Care Providers and will cover all major topics including choking, airway and breathing emergencies, and prevention of disease transmission. This comprehensive course summarizes proven methods for providing basic, urgent assistance to injured or ill persons. Through instruction, demonstration, and practice, participants will learn how to determine the severity of a patient's condition and practice safe intervention when providing them with emergency support.
