This course introduces beginners to the development of structures and phrases in Arabic which are necessary for simple conversations. Pronunciation, intonation, and development of new sounds in the Arabic language are taught and practiced. Time will also be spent learning to read and write the Arabic alphabet. Some aspects of the culture of Arabic-speaking countries will be explored.
