Generative Artificial Intelligence trained on Large Language Models is redefining what it means to be informed, capable, creative, productive and competitive. This course offers a practical and foundational introduction to generative Al, covering what this technology is, how it works, and where caution is required. A key part of that foundation is understanding how generative Al generates responses through prediction rather than knowledge, and why that distinction matters. Through live demonstrations and guided exercises, learners will practice good, better and best prompt techniques to use generative Al more effectively for writing, research content creation, idea generation and everyday productivity.
