Learners explore how artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming human resources in areas such as streamlining recruitment, enabling personalized employee development, and supporting strategic workforce planning. Topics include AI-driven talent acquisition, performance management, HR analytics, bias mitigation, ethical AI design, and global regulatory frameworks. Learners examine how AI can increase efficiency, enhance decision-making, and improve the employee experience across the HR function. Through case studies, practical examples, hands-on activities, and critical discussion, students learn to evaluate current trends, assess the capabilities and limitations of AI tools, and apply them responsibly within HR contexts. The course emphasizes the importance of ethical and informed decision-making, preparing both emerging and experienced HR professionals to navigate the evolving role of AI in the workplace.
It is strongly recommended that students have a mastery of competencies usually obtained by completing AI Prompt Engineering (ONT AI1), followed by Agentic AI (ONT AI2), before proceeding with other occupation-specific courses in the series: AI for Entrepreneurs, AI for Marketing, AI for Human Resources, AI for Business Analysis.
