This course is for those who are looking to start their lifeguarding training early. Participants will develop problem-solving and decision-making skills individually and in partners. If successful, candidates will receive the Bronze Star award, Basic First Aid, CPR "A", and become eligible for taking Bronze Medallion. 100% attendance is required. The practical exam will be held during the last class.
Prerequisites: 10-13 years of age & the ability to swim 100m continuously. Completion of Canadian Swim Patrol is recommended.
