Student Success Stories | St. Clair College

It’s working, beautifully.

That’s the truly exciting conclusion arising from a review of St. Clair College's "International Student Success Stories", which appear below.

Federal immigration policies to welcome more global citizens to our nation, coupled with the provincial education and employment programs to accommodate those immigrants, have genuinely benefited the lives of these individuals - and, in turn, the social and economic well-being of the Canadian communities in which they have settled.

Certainly, read about their academic successes while they were students, and how they enjoyed their Canadian "college experience". But concentrate, too, on the final few sentences in each story: describing how they are now making vital contributions to private-sector companies and public-sector agencies, with the skills and expertise that are needed in our regional, provincial and national workforces.

Their success stories are also the success stories of St. Clair, the whole Ontario college system, and of the policies and programs that have so effectively expanded and enhanced international education opportunities in Ontario.
