In a challenge meant to test skills and showcase talents of students across Ontario, two St. Clair College students in the Landscape Horticulture program at St. Clair College walked away with a gold medal and a handful of students in Powerline Technician, Web Design and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning took home silver medals.

A group of young women shared an eye-opening experience during a week of hands-on immersion in a variety of skilled trades at the Skills Ontario Trades and Tech Summer Camp, hosted at St. Clair College.

Rowan Hayes may only be 13 years old, but he already knows he wants to be a millwright when he grows up.

And this summer, he’s getting a taste of what that could look like at the Trades & Tech Summer Camp, hosted by Skills Ontario at St. Clair College.
