When Paula Bunay heard her name blare out across the loudspeaker announcing she won the annual Saints Got Talent competition, she couldn't believe her ears.
"I was so excited, so happy," Bunay recalled.
And when the crowd in attendance first heard her sing, they couldn't contain their excitement either.
Students entering the Journalism and Media Convergence programs in Fall 2022 at the St. Clair College MediaPlex will have an innovative class added to their program curriculum – Drone Technology and Media Production.
Today, a journalist has to be flexible, multi-skilled, social media savvy and able to compete in an increasingly freelance world. They have to be entrepreneurs. The job market for young journalists has been changing rapidly and many of the traditional media jobs have disappeared or been greatly reduced.
