Ibiso Briggs travelled a great distance and made many sacrifices for her chance at a better future.
And Briggs says she got that on Tuesday when she – and thousands of other new graduates had their diplomas and degrees conferred at St. Clair College's eleventh and twelfth sessions of Fall Convocation on Sept. 30, 2025, at the WFCU Centre.
It was 31 years ago when Paula Reaume-Zimmer received her Nursing diploma from St. Clair College at the Thames Arena in Chatham – a day she remembers vividly.
The largest ever graduating class from St. Clair College had their diplomas, certificates and degrees conferred during five Spring Convocation sessions in Windsor from June 2 to 4, 2025.
More than 5,500 students participated in five sessions, graduating from various schools within the College.
Hundreds of graduates from dozens of programs received the ultimate recognition of their hard work Thursday afternoon at the St. Clair College Centre for the Arts: their diplomas and certificates.
When Dave Cassidy walked onto the stage as the keynote speaker at the 57th convocation, he had one big message for the soon-to-be graduates in attendance: “Be bold, be courageous and be your best.”
St. Clair College celebrated over 400 graduating students at the 56th Annual Winter Convocation on February 22nd held at the Chrysler Theatre.
President France addressed students from the programs from the Schools of Health Sciences, Community Studies, Skilled Trades, Business & IT and Media Arts and Design who received both diplomas and degrees.
"Mehari Hagos epitomizes the type of person who merits the sort of recognition associated with an honorary degree," said St. Clair President Patti France. "For over a decade, he has dedicated his life – personally and professionally – to mentorship, advocacy, the delivery of life-lessons, and inspiring the youth of our community.
St. Clair College will begin its 56th Spring Convocation sessions this week, celebrating the graduation of over 3,000 students from their Windsor, Chatham And Toronto campuses.
Starting Tuesday, June 6th, the Windsor campus sessions at the WFCU Centre will be at 10:00 am and 3 pm daily, and the exact times are on Wednesday, June 8th.
