Windsor is set to welcome the next generation of innovators as the Windsor Essex Great Lakes FIRST Robotics Competition, highlighting how regional students are developing the skills powering the future of advanced manufacturing, automation, and technology in the region.
Most students take time over the summer to work, travel or enjoy a break from school.
When Sam McCutcheon enrolled at St. Clair College back in 2012, he had no idea he'd be the living embodiment of one of the school's slogans: Start Here, Go Anywhere.
"I always knew I wanted to be an architect," McCutcheon says, while looking out his office window in the great city of Boston, Massachusetts.
During March break, some students travelled, some visited friends and family, and others probably enjoyed a peaceful break from the classroom.
Jeff Cogliati, Principal of B+H Architects and an alumnus of St. Clair College's Architectural Technology program, welcomed 35 students from both St. Clair College and St. Joseph's High School to B+H's Toronto Studio on December 1st, 2023.
