Hockey is Canada's favourite pastime, and another season of giving that experience to youth for free is on the horizon.

Every passing day brings a new headline about cybersecurity risks, ransomware attacks, hacking or phishing attempts and information technology vulnerabilities.

That's why in the burgeoning field of cybersecurity, it is imperative young learners are equipped with the right tools to detect and stop risks from becoming a reality.

It may have been an academic competition, but hundreds of students and faculty from around the province created a varsity-style setting for this year's Ontario Colleges' Marketing Competition.

The Saints Esports program is celebrating a monumental achievement as its teams secure top spots in two major North American esports championships. Both the Saints VALORANT Game Changers and the broader varsity esports roster are set to represent St. Clair College on some of the continent's largest competitive stages.

Downtown Windsor will be lit up green and gold this weekend to commemorate an historic national championship victory by the St. Clair Saints Men's Football team.

The Saints Nation Swim and Run hosted at the Main Windsor Campus this summer brought together 75 participants, some as young as three and even some, 50-years-plus.

And while their athletic endeavours may have been the focus of that day in August, the spotlight is now on how much money they collectively raised.

It will be a pressure-cooker situation over the next two days as nearly 500 students and faculty from 13 colleges across the province will compete for top honours Ontario Colleges' Marketing Competition, hosted by St. Clair College at the Centre for the Arts in downtown Windsor and Main Windsor Campus.

The village of El Triunfo, Guatemala, holds a special place in Louise Elliott's heart.

The vast landscape is flush with greenery and cloud forests, known for its coffee, corn, and bean crops.

But as Elliott knows, it's also a place where access to doctors, life-saving medicine and treatment is hard to come by.

For the first time in 25 years, the St. Clair Saints men's football team won the Canadian Junior Football League National Championships at the 115th edition of the Canadian Bowl.

While the Windsor Spitfires usually don the colours of red, white and blue, Thursday's game saw the squad wearing St. Clair's green and gold - and the fans followed suit.
