Do you have an innovative idea that could make an impact? St. Clair College's Ford Innovation Showcase is your chance to bring it to the spotlight! We're looking for creative, forward-thinking students from all programs to submit their ideas for a chance to compete in this exciting event.
Ten teams will be selected to present their innovations to a panel of industry leaders, gaining invaluable exposure, feedback, and networking opportunities. Winners will take home prizes and recognition, but every participant walks away with experience, connections, and the opportunity to showcase their talent to key industry and community leaders.

If you have a great concept but need help translating it into a compelling application, this workshop is for you!
This interactive, two-hour workshop is designed to give you the tools, confidence, and expert guidance needed to craft a strong application and stand out in the selection process.

Meet Your Workshop Facilitators
Our facilitators bring a wealth of experience in experiential learning, digital content creation, and student success. They're here to answer your questions and provide hands-on support.
Trevor Ramieri is an award-winning speaker with a passion for storytelling, effective communication, and audience engagement. His expertise in innovation and social entrepreneurship has earned national recognition, and he helps individuals refine their message for maximum impact. In this workshop, Trevor will guide you on how to clearly and persuasively describe your idea, ensuring your application stands out to the selection panel.
Cody Brown has been with St. Clair College for 11 years, with the last three as a Career Services Officer. At the Genesis Centre for Experiential Learning and Career Services, he helps students navigate a competitive job market through interview coaching, networking strategies, and personal branding. In this workshop, Cody will guide you through the application process, offering practical tips to keep your team organized and ensure your submission is polished, complete, and stands out in the Innovation Showcase selection process.
Michael Porier is a videographer and technologist in St. Clair College's Marketing and Communications departments. With years of experience capturing compelling stories and showcasing the College's diverse programs, he knows how to create visually engaging content.
