Operation Defend the North (ODTN) 2026 Windsor is a national cybersecurity readiness exercise hosted by St. Clair College and presented by siberX. Taking place on October 20, 2026, at the St. Clair College Centre for the Arts, the event brings together executives, cybersecurity professionals, government leaders, critical infrastructure operators, and industry stakeholders for an immersive cyber crisis simulation.
The Windsor exercise focuses on a coordinated cyber attack targeting cross-border logistics, automotive manufacturing, and critical supply chain infrastructure in the busiest international border region in North America. Participants will explore what resilience, collaboration, and leadership look like when critical systems on both sides of the Canada-U.S. border are affected simultaneously.
Through interactive tabletop exercises, expert-led discussions, and real-world decision-making scenarios, participants will gain practical insights into cyber resilience, incident response, and cross-sector collaboration. ODTN Windsor is part of a broader national initiative designed to strengthen Canada's preparedness for emerging cyber threats and the increasing complexity of protecting critical infrastructure.
