Acting IV builds upon the foundational work of the first three semesters, advancing the actor's skills through intensified scene study, detailed monologue work, and the integration of professional audition techniques. Students will deepen their understanding of text and voice work while beginning formal training in unarmed stage combat. Emphasis will be placed on disciplined research, text analysis, and the development of a professional rehearsal ethic. This course merges performance preparation with physical storytelling, ensuring that the actor's approach in both classical and contemporary material with a unified body, voice, and mind.
