This course will prepare the student to complete advanced keyboarding and editing tasks in a variety of business offices in relation to correspondence, tables, business reports, manuscripts and a variety of business forms. Emphasis is placed on the accuracy and quality of output using a microcomputer. Expertise in word processing, transcription, personal management software, and integration capabilities will be explored. Keyboarding speed, excellent proofreading skills, letter composition, time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills are necessary requirements.
