This course introduces the learner to applications of linear algebra and introduction to mathematics of finance. General topics include equation of a line and a plane, dot and cross product of vectors, solutions to systems of linear equations, matrix operations, matrix inverses, linear transformations and subspaces, determinants, eigenvectors and diagonalization, optimization problems-geometric and simplex methods, compound and simple interest and annuity problems.
