Energy Service-Electrical/Electronic Fuel Systems II | St. Clair College
Course Code
MPI255B
Course Credit
5

This course is a continuation of electrical and electronic principles and systems used on light, medium and heavy duty transportation vehicles. Lighting and instrumentation, cranking, charging and ignition systems are discussed in detail. Use of diagnostic electrical test equipment is a major component of this course. Magnetism and the applications to vehicles used in the transportation field included in both DC and AC circuits as well as analogue and digital amplitudes is integral to the understanding of how electrical/electronic systems function in everyday use relating to the transportation design and repair field. Explanation of system and function control mechanisms will be explored in detail.
