The focus of the course is on current global trade and economic issues facing Canada and the world economy. Students will examine the drivers of international trade and their impact on the economic development of countries. This course explores prevailing issues such as trade disputes, policy, negotiations, the impact of globalization, technology, labor markets, exchange rates, Multinational Enterprises, and Foreign Direct Investment.
