This course will introduce the student to general marketing and sales principles and the differences between them. Students will then apply these principles to the hospitality industry and its sectors. Providing service quality through internal marketing is a key component of the course. Students will explore the various sales and marketing programs available for both customers and employees and how those programs contribute to the success of the hospitality enterprise. Students will also examine, various personnel roles and organizational structures that exist in hospitality sales and marketing.
