Digital Pattern Making and 3D Design for Fashion

As a continuation of Intro to Computerized Drafting, students will gain an understanding of digital 2D pattern making, grading, digitizing and marker making. Students will explore grading libraries and their uses, along with marker lay down and positioning of pieces. Emphasis on piece identification and labeling for production using industry standards. The course provides students with an introduction to 3D software for digital garment visualization and virtual prototyping.
