This course is designed to introduce Engineering students to the fundamental concepts of quality processes specific to manufacturing. Topics will include the application of Quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures to meet organizational standards and requirements which in turn support production efficiency and customer expectations. Students learn how to integrate quality processes into robotic and automation processes such as part traceability, gauging, reject handling and part tracking.
