This course introduces the student to programmable controllers. The student will connect to input and output modules various types of input and output devices, both digital and analog. Program instructions including timing, counting, sequencing, and logical operations that are used to control the outputs of the system in response to inputs will be examined utilizing ladder logic programming language. Through hands-on lab exercises, students will install, configure, program and troubleshoot programmable controller systems and related devices.
