In this course students will further develop theoretical foundation for Level II Dental Assisting practice in alignment with national standards. Emphasis placed on patient assessment clinical decision-making documentation and ethical professional practice within a dental practice. Students develop knowledge required to support safe effective and evidence-based care in preparation for application in a clinical setting and entry to practice expectations.
