This course is designed to examine advanced invasive cardiovascular techniques and procedures as it relates to diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular pathologies. Cardiovascular hemodynamic principles, waveforms, monitoring and associated physiology will be explored and the student will be introduced to the methods and equipment used in the catheterization lab to diagnose and treat coronary artery disease.
