The second field placement of the CICE program will focus on the continued development, in a field situation, of good work practices and interpersonal skills. Students will also gain vocational skills in their expressed field of interest. Expectations of the student will be higher during this second placement. Students will be expected to demonstrate, if applicable, additional essential skills such as reading text, document use, writing, oral communication and basic computer use. Specific learning outcomes will be developed at the beginning of the placement period and student performance will be measured both during and at the end of the placement experience.
