This course will introduce the student to the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Emphasis is placed on the systemic perspective of anatomical structures and physiological processes. Topics include: body organization, cell structure and functions, tissue classifications, the integumentary system, the cardiovascular and lymphatic systems, the respiratory system, and the endocrine system.
