This course introduces students to the field of biomedical engineering technology. It provides an overview of the various types of equipment that biomedical engineering technologists maintain and repair, as well as the relevant science such as anatomy & physiology, bioinstrumentation, and signal processing needed to understand the medical equipment industry. Students will learn about the diverse areas in which a biomedical engineering technologist can contribute.
