An introductory course, in commonly used metalworking processes such as welding and cutting. This course develops competencies in shielded metal arc welding in the flat position and oxy-fuel cutting. Interpretation of weld symbols, metal preparation and forming, layout, fitting and finishing skills will also be introduced.
