This 35-hour welding testing program is designed to increase the participants' skills in producing welds acceptable to the Canadian Welding Bureau. Welders will be evaluated at the beginning of the course and will have a training schedule designed to maximize their testing/certification success. Typically, trainees will select one process: SMAW(Stick) or GMAW(MIG) and concentrate on perfecting one welding position every 8 hours of the program: Flat, Horizontal, Vertical & Overhead.
Participants must have CSA-certified safety footwear and safety glasses while in the Welding Lab.
