This course will focus on distributed computing with emphasis on both the Local Area Network, (LAN), and the Wide Area Network, (WAN), using a GUI Network Operating System. Students will gain theoretical and practical experience in the administration and configuration of current Microsoft Windows Workstation and Server operating systems. Topics covered will include; the various methods of installation, Service Pack updates, client/server management and configuration, user and group management, print services, and Active Directory.
