Foundations of Exercise Training | St. Clair College
This course is designed for students to learn the fundamentals of proper exercise training and conditioning principles and techniques in order to increase fitness, maximize performance, and minimize injury when designing exercise programming through lectures and practice demonstrations. Students wil gain knowledge of how to increase fitness, maximize performance, and minimize injury when designing exercise programming. Topics of study are based on the guidelines of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, American College of Sports Medicine and Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology.
