In this course, students will use JavaScript as a scripting language on workstation and server platforms. They will use JavaScript to build tools during the creation of websites to automatically compile JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and image processing while working on the site. Students will also examine the use of JavaScript as a server side scripting language and a framework to provide web server functionality. In both cases, additional modules and libraries will be used to extend the basic functionality.
