Mathematical principles will be employed in this course to solve practical problems in component layout and machine assembly and parts locations. The study of the sine laws will be employed to solve practical problems of component length and angle for proper part location in a layout situation. The use of proven mathematical constants will be used to check conveyor feed rates and part movement through multi piece machine assemblies.
