Using the equipment available the apprentice will complete multiple projects in the machine shop using the engine lathe, vertical mill and surface grinder, along with various saws and drill presses. The installation and disassembly of machine assemblies and proper equipment layout procedures will be investigated. Time will be spent working on practical fluid systems as well as mechanical and electrical systems.
