This course builds on anatomy and physiology, knowledge and includes a general study of disease and pathophysiology beginning with the study of cardiopulmonary wellness and various assessments of health. Students will learn appropriate aspects of diseases including etiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, management, and pathogenesis for relevant body systems. Emphasis is placed on cardiopulmonary diseases as well as the impact of other system diseases on the respiratory organs.
