The intermediate level apprentice will examine welding and fabrication. The emphasis is on the development of knowledge and additional welding practice and techniques including weld joints;, description and application of welding techniques including drawings and symbols, layout procedures and set-up, prevention and correction of distortion, joint preparation, metal spraying, TIG welding and MIG welding.
