This course will introduce students to XML (Extensible Markup Language). Students learn the importance of XML as it relates to the business world, by delving into real-world exercises and case studies. The main topics of discussion will be:, , - Describing Data with XML (Well-Formed documents), , - Validating XML (Using DTD's and XML Schemas), , - Understanding XHTML, , - Presenting XML, , - Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT) - Transforming an XML document into another, , output format., This course is for intermediate Web developers with little or no knowledge of XML, who wish to expand their knowledge and skills with XML programming technologies. Knowledge of HTML and one Web scripting language is a prerequisite for this course.
