This course examines the topics and programming techniques required to produce Internet based applications using ASP.NET and VB.NET. With these tools, students will create dynamic Web applications. Building on the knowledge obtained in MIT 315 (Application Development using Visual Basic), students will utilize ADO.NET objects to create data driven Web applications and Web services. An overview of the configuration, deployment and Web application architecture to support .NET services is also given.
