This course will provide a general overview of the general practices involved in successful turfgrass maintenance and culture. Through a series of lectures, labs and field studies the students will examine the physical properties of soil as they relate to turfgrass culture. Cool and warm season turf grass characteristics, identification and usage within a golf course will be component of this course.
