This course involves a detailed analysis of the procedures that are utilized in taking lawsuits other than criminal matters from their inception to conclusion. Particular emphasis is placed on the role of the legal assistant or paralegal in the litigation process including the requirements of the various court offices and how the legal assistant can fulfill those requirements.
