This course provides students with the industry background needed for understanding the differing roles and audiences for print, electronic and online/digital media. Students will be introduced to the writing conventions of contemporary cross platform media and given opportunities to produce basic news and feature stories for publication and broadcast. They will prepare scripts for TV and radio shows and write news copy for multiple platforms.
